Prologue

Summer 2008 to date

Approached by Censeo in spring 2008, Profission were asked to create a brand, website and collateral to support this specialist mortgage brokers industry-defying approach to shared ownership. Charged with reaching a more aspirational demographic, Profission launched the first phase of the new brand in the summer of 2008

Act 1

Establishing the brand

The iconic comprises several blurred rings and spots collected by a brush stroke. The stroke provides a defining point to the otherwise very soft and infinite geometry underneath; the theme here is perpetual motion frozen in time. Type is laid over the iconic and aligned right. The ā€˜n’ is placed in the midpoint of the circle to emphasise the end of the first syllable by focussing it so fully.

Act 2

Stationery & Print

Business cards, comp slips and letterheads printed in CMYK with an additional Spot UV on the card reverse to pick out brush stroke.

Act 3

The website

The site introduces the often-confusing concept of shared-ownership purchasing, commonly called affordable housing schemes, in a simple and straightforward manner.

Introducing the company, its services and its unique relationship with some of the country's leading housing groups, the site aims to change the common understanding that this sector is reserved for keyworkers and explain how everyone can capitalise on affordable housing schemes to make the move to their dream homes.
