Brand & Identity

Prologue

Spring 2008

Socialite is an exclusive members club for people who are passionate about socialising and dining out in London. Profission were asked to produce a brand for the club and produced stationery, printed collateral and exhibition stand graphics to launch the club at the prestigious Taste of London event in Regents Park.

Act 1

Establishing the brand

Based loosely around the concept of a black book the brand is understated. It uses a blend of relatively feminine Bickham Script forms with a quite masculine palette and relies on a tessellated fleur de lis asset to ground the brand in physical, rather than personal, territory.

A palette of black and white with soft metallics somewhere between champagne and lilac create an air of sophistication to complement the logotype.

Act 2

Promoting the brand

Leading up to the launch event, Profission were asked to create printed collateral for the business and consumer faces of Socialite. A founder-members pack was created with an introductory brochure, invites, membership cards and promotional flyers.

Stand visuals were then produced from the assets to give Socialite a coherent launchpad to start promoting the club at Taste of London.

Act 3

The club online

Members introduce themselves online with their Socialite Profile, where they can leave details of when and where they're available for lunch and dinner as well as the usual likes, dislikes, photos and bio information.

Using the unique Socialite Invitation tools, members can then host dining events and invite other members as guests at their favourite London restaurants.

The site talks seamlessly with TopTable to reserve and book from their more than ample selection of venues, leaving the members to get on with the task of choosing their guests and planning great evenings.
